Weekend rentals run Friday–Monday. Weekly rentals are 7 days. Refundable equipment deposits are returned after equipment is returned on time and in acceptable condition.

Rental policies
Know before you rent.
A quick overview of the most important policies in the SMT customer rental agreement.
Cleaning
Return all equipment empty, clean, dry, and free of tape, labels, excessive dirt, odors, and mold. Excessive cleaning may result in cleaning fees.
Late returns
1–3 days late: $5 per rented item per day.
4–7 days late: $7 per rented item per day.
8–14 days late: $10 per rented item per day.
Equipment use
Equipment is for moving household or business items only. Trash, concrete, landscaping materials, fuel, chemicals, paint, hazardous materials, and live animals are not permitted.
Damage, replacement & cleaning fees
Broken lid $15 · Broken handle $10 · Cracked tote (usable) $20 · Hole in tote $25 · Small blanket tear $10 · Excessive cleaning $10/tote or $15/blanket.
Equipment that is no longer usable, large blanket tears, and lost equipment may be charged at replacement cost.
Replacement costs: 75-gallon tote $45 · 40-gallon tote $25 · moving blanket $25.

Why rent totes instead of buying boxes?
Totes are sturdy, reusable, stack neatly, require no tape to assemble, and leave you with less cardboard to dispose of after your move.
Do you deliver and pick them up?
Yes. Delivery and pickup are part of the SMT rental experience within the service area.
Can I add dollies or moving blankets?
When available, moving blankets and dollies can be added to your reservation.
What areas do you serve?
SMT is based in Seguin, Texas and serves local customers in Seguin and surrounding areas. Delivery availability can be confirmed when booking.
How far ahead should I book?
Booking early gives you the best chance of getting the dates and number of totes you need, especially around weekends and month-end moves.
Do I need to book my pickup separately?
No. You make one rental reservation. After SMT confirms your rental, we arrange the pickup/return based on your rental period.
